In India, nearly 35% of children under 5 are stunted due to chronic malnutrition¹. Many children go to school hungry, impacting their growth and ability to learn. Mid-day meals are a proven way to improve nutrition and reduce hunger among school-age children². We pledge to put a plate of food on a child’s desk and keep the kids healthy.

UNINTERRUPTED EDUCATION

Mid-day meals provide an incentive for parents to send their children to school regularly, improving attendance, learning outcomes, and future opportunities.4 Ours is an initiative to keep children in school longer, giving them the hope for a future.
